How to turn a logo into a vector cut line

Laser cutters and die-cut plotters do not understand pixels: they need vectors, mathematical lines the head can follow. This tool takes your PNG or JPG, detects the silhouette of the artwork and turns it into a closed vector outline ready to cut, with whatever bleed margin you choose.

This is what you need for die-cut stickers (the cut line around the design), acrylic or wooden keychains shaped like your logo, tags, magnets and decorative silhouettes. It does not try to reproduce your full-color artwork the way a complete vectorizer would: it does one specific job well, which is giving you the outline the blade or beam should follow.

Everything runs inside your browser. The image is never uploaded, so you can work with client logos safely.

1
Upload your image

A PNG with a transparent background works best. For a JPG on white, switch detection to light/dark.

2
Tune the sensitivity

Move the slider until the red line covers the whole artwork without eating fine details.

3
Set the margin

The bleed between artwork and cut. Die-cut stickers usually use 2 to 4 mm.

4
Download the SVG

Exported in real millimeters, cut layer in red and engrave layer in blue.

Preguntas frecuentes

Upload the PNG here, adjust the sensitivity until the red outline follows the shape you want, and download the SVG. With a transparent PNG it is nearly automatic; with a white background, switch detection to light/dark so it does not trace the background rectangle.
